At the young age of fourteen, Sandy worked for her father’s grocery store in Rodeo, CA. Her warm and charming personality came in great use leading food demonstrations and store promotions. Sandy always knew she would do something she enjoyed and that her hard work and personality would take her far wherever that might be.

Like most young adults, Sandy found herself working various careers and gaining new, valuable experiences from each one. She never dreamt that her position as an office manager at J. B. Cusick Company, a food brokerage firm, would be the start of something great.

After many years of studying and working the markets, she became an extremely valuable and successful person in a male dominated industry. In 1985 Sandy purchased 50% of the corporate shares of J. B. Cusick Company, Inc. Developing business in a way others would have never envisioned, Sandy’s creativity and commitment has allowed her to partner companies and create new and exciting relationships.

As of July 1, 2007, Sandy completed a corporate split with J. B. Cusick Co., Inc. making Golden International Dist., Inc. a 100% women owned corporation.

Sandy’s passion and dedication for Golden International has enhanced its reputation as a progressive and respected, premium industrial ingredient brokerage firm. For over thirty years, Sandy’s built strong relationships with food industry professionals, and her knowledge is happily passed on to Golden International’s valued customers. Infused into her daily life, is Sandy’s strong belief in health, wellness, and giving back to the community.
